So now that the Iraq war is supposedly over ...
and the total cost was $709 billion over 7 years. Do you think that anyone will comment that if you took the total cost of the war over 7 years and DOUBLE it, you'd have approximately the deficit that Obama has just for this year alone? Or that his stimulus program that failed horribly cost more than the Iraq war? dunno.gif

I suppose we could wonder why, when Bush was President, there were anti-War protests shown by the media amost daily (Remember Cindy Sheehan?) but once Obama became President these seemed to disappear even though Obama mostly kept to the same Iraq withdrawal plan that Bush already had in place.
Meanwhile, Obama adds to the number of troops in Afganistan, and we still don't hear about all of the anti-War protestors.
I guess war is only bad when Bush is President?
