Default So got out and hit the bike trail...

a day after the big storm to see the damage. Hit the trail at Hazel and 50, lots of downed trees and branches to dodge. Only wrecked once going threw the fox hole, very steep drop, all wet and muddy. Lost control and bailed of my bike downhill. Grabbed a tree and stopped myself, took a few scratches to the leg. Took a few to the arm going threw a thorn bush that was blown over the trail. Ran most of it over, used my right arm to push the rest out of the way, got some nice sratches on the back of my shoulder as I went by. Lots of puddles a sevaral deep streams running 1-2 foot deep. All fun stuff. Killed the course to. Started a little after 5 O'clock finished at 6:15, best time before was 1:45 minutes. Much more lung compacity since I quit burning trees. Just beat the sun back to the truck, WOOT!!! Heres some pics, didn't get to take pics of all the downed trees cause I was racing the sun, but I grabbed 2 good ones. I should get a helm-cam so I can bring you all along.

Downed trees

So muddy and wet trails means I got filthy and loved it. My bike started making noises, bike not loving it so much but it was a bitchin ride.

Camel pack needs a good washing to.

Then theres me, need a good shower!

Minor injuries

Old wound from the begining of september there on my right leg. I received a nice peddle gouge from the set screws that are used for grip, freakin scars. Hope they fade.

All cleaned up, wounds dont look as bad.

when i was a kid i used to set up jumps and catch air maybe 2 meters long. loved blasting into puddles. i think that's what got me into rally.

reminds me how fun it was just to go out just you and the bike. i had a mongoose you could lift with a finger. i used to go really fast down big hills.
