You're whacked out dude. You appear to be against the fact we went to Iraq, yet you say it was a good thing? And Iraq is nothing compared to Vietnam :? How old are you? Learn your history Canadian! If we attacked for oil, why are we leaving the country and setting up an Iraqi government instead of one of our own?

Even if it was for oil, people would still complain! We complain about the high price of oil, so if we were to attack Iraq to get rid of the worst leader in the world (with France's dude at a close 2nd) and decide to take over their oil while we were at it (to decrease prices in North America) people would still complain! Democrats are impossible to please!!!

i didnt mean that Iraq and Vietnam are 100% like each other... i meant that like Vietnam poor soldiers are getting shot from out of nowhere and its hard to tell who is on what side...

ok lets think about this now, Iraq controls a shit-load of oil.... the US comes in and takes over, then sets up a US friendly gov't, instead of one that was ridiculously hostile towards the US... i think cheaper oil could have been on the books as something to get at...

I believe we've tried assasinating Saddam. It isn't really a secret that we've tried. He's hired dozens of look-a-likes because of it. It's been reported that he never spent 2 consecutive nights in the same bed.

So we shouldn't have set up a "US friendly government" (democracy) but rather continue letting them have a dictatorship? Your ideas aren't very logical. I still don't see the relationships between Vietnam and Iraq.
