Depending on the exact mood, Matchbox 20 Mad season works well for that "you'll miss me when i'm gone" attitude. "You won't be mine" is a good song off that album, so is "Leave" and of course "If you're gone". For the pissed off mood, I'd go with Stabbing Westward Darkest Days (LOVED that album - I wouldn't have survived my divorce without it) That album goes through every emotion of a troubled relationship.

As for your girl...she isnt by any chance spoiled is she?? If so, that might explain why shes sooo unappreciative... ( she expects it from you ) its happened to me... it sucks.
