I have a 99 cavalier in san fransisco that I want to get up to winnipeg (canada). If I can get it hauled as far as grand forks (north dakota) i would be able to bring it home. Anyone know of a good company? The cheapest i've been able to find is $800 american to get it shipped to grand forks.

I would do that but I really don't have the time to spend on a 1-2 day drive.

Nav, shipping a vehicle by rail (CN, I Think was what my buddy used) from Vancouver to Wpg, was about $650Cdn,... Not sure about the states,... but have you tried to contact a railway company?

Hmm, I'll try looking into that, not sure exactly who I would contact for doing that in the states though. I'll get someone in san fransisco to check for me though. We have had cars shipped from toronto to winnipeg for about 650 canadian as well, but never done anything over the border.
