Shark racing did split up...
Yamanenko (brad) and Boogyman (sam) parted...
Yam took teamsr and now sales through that site and is also owner or part owner of evofusion

Sam still handles SR...

Yam took care of the US products... Sam took care of the Korean products

Sam was the founder of SR.. so back in the fxtreme days.. it was all Sam...

Last time i spoke to sam, he said he was going to continue SR and make it a brand name like it used to be...


Who knows though..

I havent bought anything lately from SR... so really cant say.

I havent seen that many complaints from people about buying from evofus/team whatever so i guess they are doing something good...
Then again.. not that many people i know are buying from them...

They have been around for over a year though..

From a personal stand point...
I have to admit...
both guys were koo ass hell to hang out with...
We had some good times at the track, at the SR warehouse, bbqs, peoples homes...

I was going to advertise sharkracing in hopes of getting sponsored but now I'm not so sure on it. Maybe I'll just advertise our own company/club once we get it up and running. Ah well...I think I'll just order the bars from Kspec since on the site I didn't see any advertisements/brands on them. Thanks for the info guys....it looked to me like they split up as well. Was just wondering what happened...especially since when I e-mailed sharkracing I got a response back in 2 days...which has NEVER happened to me before. Actually...I've NEVER received a response from them anytime I e-mailed them. So maybe the split was good..... :?

you knew those guys? how did they get contracted with hyundai!?!? apparently you could once go to the dealership and order a bodykit and other shark racing products with the new car still under warranty.

Yea I still remember my first meet with all the Tibs. It was when Sam first came to the states and we had that meet in Escondido. I think that was the first one i went too. Long time ago.

 

Well keep trying to see if they will partially sponsor you..

i dont remember SR FULLY sponsoring anyone.. but it doesnt hurt to try...

the guy that got contracted with hyundai was a jack ass... im glad he left the site..

i think his name was james fabin or something like that. Hes a dick. I met him at one of the rally events and told him about ours cars and especially ill the bs ive gone through with mine...
Then he tells me to sell it...
and to buy an 03.. that the 99 was "old news" and to move on...
I was nice and told him that a lot of time and effort was put into my car..
he said "so what, do that to an 03"
He was all enthusiastic about it..

So.. fvck him...
For 4 months afterwards i would tell people my car was a mitsubishi...

The other guys who ran the site were crazy.. one of them was from puerto rico who was spraying a 150 shot on stock internals...

A lot of those guys were crazy...
