Yesterday my step dad came to me askin if I wanted to shark dive when we go to FL this summer. We are goin to Destin first week in June and Miami first week in July. He tried finding some places but couldnt. So i was wondering if any of you knew where, either in Destin or Miami?

EDIT-- He also would like to go shark fishing. But isnt that the same as deep sea fishing? At least i figured it would be lol. So if any of you knows of a place to do that as well....

 

Lol, first he wants to swim with them, then catch them.
If you are unable to find anything before you go Im sure you wont have any trouble once you get there.

 

I know you can catch some good sized sharks in Miami. You can pretty much find any beach and throw a big dead bait fish out or you can take a boat out to any of the pass's that lead into the ocean. Pretty much anywhere down there.

 

Id recomend diving in the keys. Its really nice like with coral and lots of fish. Also deep sea fishing is pretty expensive, my dad and I were going to do it but it was so expensive. And we can fish everyday if we want but dont. Some times youll see sharks by reef. Bring some bread if you want loads of fish to come.

 

NIce. Lemme konw if you do find a place. This is definitely something I want to do though. When I go to Austrailia, I want to dive with the Great White's out there. Such a beautiful animal, so powerful, yet so graceful at the same time.

yeah, I know there's a ton of them out there, that is like Mardi Gras for GW's.

But Florida...... I haven't ever looked for anything in the continental US. If I'm going in to see a shark I wanna have the sh!t scared right out of me. LOL
