Dude, you're link doesn't work, KBB doesn't allow bookmarking a quote. But, I did my own. Unless you are a car dealer, don't use the retail value. The best I could get from doing a private party was 5595, that is if you're car is in PERFECT condition, never been in any accident, has cruise, cd, ABS, leather, moon roof, rear spoiler and alloy wheels. I would imagine, although I may be wrong, that your 6 year old car has some dings, paint chips and the the interior isn't exactly perfect. When I bought my tib in 2001, there was a 98 fx with 65000 miles that was selling at a dealer for 5500. That one was in excellent condtion, 3 years ago. I should have bought it, but went with the new one instead. What I am saying is don't get your hopes up for 6 grand, or even 5. If someone offered you 4500, I'd take the money and run. Hyundai still doesn't have a great reputation with the general public, only those who have owned one in the last 5 years or so. With the reputation they still have, the re-sale value is terrible.

Superman is right... come up with a date and time (when it's warmer) and I will join him in helping you do the swap.. Most of my experience is in rear drive cars.. but it still can't hurt to have an extra pair of hands that has an idea what's going on.

LOL, Thanks for the offer.....but I am in Dayton and that is several hours further south.
Well, not sure what all I will have the funds for but would like to at least do the tranny swap but I would also like to do the rear brake conversion and engine swap at some point this Spring/Summer.
