I saw it as well. Didnt one of the cars run like a high 15 or something in the quarter? Nice looking but slow as hell for the cars they were

 

Well it wouldn't make sense for them to put thousands into the motor of a car thats going to be wrecked would it?

 

they all had quite a bit of work done. i dont think the ones they did the article on were getting wrecked. one of the cars cost them like 75 grand to buy. it was an rx7 i believe

 

Ah, I wont go to theaters to see this movie. Ill watch it once it comes on HBO or some other movie channel.

I used to like drifting etc. but for me it got old. Im over it. laugh.gif

 

Just came back from this,... and IT WASN'T BAD!!!
Pretty fluid CGI,...

I can't believe they closed shibuya square for the movie,... actually, they could of just CGI'd it all in,... still pretty good and fluid.

I'd say 4/5 smile.gif

 

this movie was pretty cool, i watch them as movies, they arent supposed to be realistic, just for fun guys chill. the parking lot thing was cool, fart can heaven, haha. but i talked to one guy who claimed 550hp on his 3000gt, very nice car. a lot of cool cars, met some new people, probably the best part.



that made some ricers shit thier little pants, had somebody say something in the parking lot accually. Then when i left he followed me in his integra, and im sad to say i ended up doing a couple flashing red light to red light 0-60s against him, ala redz in the street racing thread. i promised i wouldnt get dragged into it but did a little. sadly no "drifting" civics though, haha.

 

I liked it too.

 

Goddamn it sucks to have the laughing stock of car brands...

Hyundai has to come up with a 200hp inline 4... or make the Tiburon RWD; then maybe we'd get some respect.

 

^^We're not the complete laughing stock...there's still Kia, Geo, and Suzuki isn't that popular for cars haha.... I went to see it with one of my friends yesterday and he also drives a Tib (2005) and we both just laughed because half of the people in there laughing about the remark about the implication that Hyundai makes crappy cars were like 14 and don't have cars or probably just have neons and wouldn't know how to remove a resonator... they all most likely went outside to tighten their muffler belts for some hardcore drifting after the show on their street tires...

 

you gotta be able to laugh about those joke... look at it this way it's a drift movie and hyundai doesn't have an AWD car or a RWD car so... to me that seal the deal

for the movie at the first race i was like oh no not again .... like previous one they sifth speed over and over.... but when he goes to japan the movie start being good a lot of nice chix and car smile.gif the race were alot better..... they did a pretty good job smile.gif

i liked the aperence of THE drift King mister tsushia i think ? tongue.gif

so all over a good movies smile.gif i liked it
