So I've bought Canon A640 camera with 10 MP.
Today I've bought Transcend SD 4 Gb 150x card. Camera see 3.8 Gb capacity, but when I fill it with about 1000 MB camera says "Card Error". If I try to format it in camera (low format) I have same error.
On transcend site this card is recommended for my camera. Do you think problem is in card or that card is too big for my camera?

Agreed. Some cameras don't seem to like the high speed cards. I had a similar problem with my Pentax when I used an off-brand (AData) 60x SD card. I am now sticking with regular SD Kingston cards and they work perfectly.

If this is the speed and size of SD card recommended for your camera then I'd take the card back to exchange it for another one. I've found it to be extremely rare, but it is possible this card was bad right out of the box.

Transcend doesn't have this card now listed in their products.
I found on forums, that this card is not very stable.
4 GB card is not supported by SD 1.1 standard, that's why no every device can see it. That's why they invented SDHC (SD 2.0) to support higher capacities.
My camera supports that type of flash.
Well now I'm buying another flash 2GB Apacer 60X. And will be trying to get my money back from the seller of 4GB card (to do that I should get a document from service center that I didn't brake it, mofos.)

Watch out when you buy memory cards second hand. People with good computer knowledge can reformat a memory card to fool a computer to think it is bigger than it really is. When you put it into a reader/computer/camera it will display the false size but obviously will only fill up to its actual limit. eBay warns people about this but the problem is that there everywhere, even on Amazon and other trustworthy sites. The only way to be safe is to buy direct from stores that get their parts from the supplier.
