The only good thing about that trend is that the cars will rust away sooner rather than later.

I think it looks like crap too. When people do a rusted hood I just assume they had an engine fire and laugh at them.

This is literally the worst automotive trend ever. Worse than coffee can mufflers, worse than whistle tips. Worse than electric superchargers.

Intentionally rusting a car FTMFL.

I really like that actually. It obviously doesn't appeal to everyone but i've always had a thing for just an utter POS car. I think the mindset you get in when you drive crap on wheels is unlike any other. I could drive that car.

I like it. cool.gif I think it's pretty cool on some VDubs. I saw a 88 civic hatch that was trying to pull this off and it didn't work at all. I wonder what my accent would look like rusty as f*ck??? Ha but the filler in the fender wouldn't rust though lol.

With the red rims and painted white faux-sidewalls, I'm thinking this guy was trying to go for the old rat-rod look. You can't really do that to just anything.

Thats unfunctional and ugly.

The point of paint is to protect your car from RUSTING!!! Rust makes holes. GAWD PEOPLE!!!!

That guy obviously sanded down his car, thought it looked cool as bear aluminum, then just didn't primer it.

There is much worse stuff out there. I would never do something like this though.
