Default Road Warrior, What car would you Mad Max?

Budget of $5000

Has to be easily fixed (common, in junkyards everywhere North or South)

What would you do to it to increase its ruggedness?

For me, I would do this

Steel plate, window bars/grates, pair of .50 cal on the hood, oil sprayer in the back, and call it a day. wink.gif

i was going to pick this because the tourist seats can be converted into a good spot for fending off bad guys:

but since it's not very common in junkyards, i'll just take the regular Land Rover Defender:

they use parts from Toyota LandCruisers.
