Default Riced Corvette C-4!!!

Yesterday I saw a Riced Corvette.

HOW do you rice a Corvette you ask? EASY.

It was a late 90's Corvette, a C-4 I think. with "Viper" style exhaust coming out down the sides of the Corvette, terminating in an outward flaring tip, just like the Viper.

Okay...not TOO Ricey...right? I'm not done.

The "pipes" were chromed...and surrounded/attached to the car with??? Anyone?? Anyone???
Fake Carbon Fibre!!!!!

Okay...now we're talking rice here. Right? NOPE...I'm not done yet!!!

He still had the quad exhaust coming out the back, and as he "rumbled away" the exhaust was ONLY coming out the back tailpipes, not the wannabe viper tail pipes.

The pipes were 100% fake!!!

Other than the "Wannabe" Viper exhaust, the car looked and sounded to be 100% stock. Go figure...

LOL! Wow. That first 'Vette wasn't too bad, Lo; it just didn't look like it had had much done. But that second one...the "Vietnamese on Wheels"...HYSTERICAL! I love the oversized wing!

I feel for you on the riced-out American cars (what would they be called? Corn Rockets? Wheat Rockets?) There are several riced-out Mustangs in the Dallas area. At the very least, they're entertaining to look at. One 'Stang has the white tail lenses and the red bulbs...you know, the illegal setup...and I will admit, it's one of the few applications of this mod that I actually think looks pretty good. It's a white car, and I think the fact that it's the style tail lamp that has the three vertical spacers between the lenses that makes it look alright. I recall seeing one with Altezza-syle taillights, and that was farking UGLY! Since I'm on the rant, I'd like to add on my opinion that Altezza tail lights for pickup trucks is the worst thing to hit the aftermarket industry since neon tubes under your car frame.

Okay, going back to my thesis now...

In all honesty though.....to be fair...all those guys probably laugh at our Hyundai's, so we shouldn't go off too much on their rides. Although ricing out a large V8 or V12 (Viper) is a little over the top.

But a custom car is a custom car no matter what, so I'm raising the "Truce Flag." L8TR......

I've seen a Mustang like that of the pix of the Mustang 1 Lo&Show posted. It just doesn't look right with that wing. But every man has his or her taste in style.

To me, the "term" rice means Non funtional or just for show.

The guy with the CRX HR NO engine mods, with a big spoiler and 19" wheels is "rice".

A 100% stock car with stickers all over it is "rice"

A Corvette with non fuctional side exhaust is "rice".

Just because you have a "show" car doesn't make it "rice", to me it becomes "rice" when it has no function, and you really have no other mods, or the mods you have actually HURT the performance of your car.

Vipers have V-10s

The only (current production car) V12's I know of are...

BMW 750's and 850's
Mercedes 600 cars.
TVR Cerbera Speed 12 (880 HP 7.7L) *DROOL*
Aston Martin makes a supercharged V12 DB7 and the coming Vanquish is a V12.
Lamborghini Diablo (of course!)
Ferrari 550 Barchetta
Ferrari F50
Rolls Royce Silver Seraph
Alpina B12

And I think MAYBE Jaguar once made a V12.
And Vector I think had a V12

Anyone???? What makes/models am I missing???
