Maybe people would be more interested in BUYING music if they didn't have to pay $23 for new CDs. I'm generally in favor of copyright protection but the RIAA should get a f***ing clue.

I am all for stopping the P2P sharing, what I don't like is NOT being able to rip my own MP3s off of CD's I have already purchased, rendering my iPod useless.

The RIAA is also a ripoff. From the day the CD has been produced it has cost more than the cassette, yet it costs the same to manufactured.

OK Cringe, let me correct myself..........
I am for P2P, but not for the use of ripping off software manufacturers and artists........and I don't stand alone on this either.

People have been copying music off one another for the longest. it's just that now due to the internet, it's just that much easier to share music. So I don't understand what the big deal is. It's just some big CEO that's pissed because getting paid 40 million dollars a year is not enough for him. Just like all these big other companies that are going bankrupt. People are getting paid millions of dollars but yet............ Let me not even get started.
