Okay guys, I want to start doing this. I'm going to be giving out prizes for these and do them randomly now and then. Moderators and other staff are not eligble for these prizes.

I won't have the first set of prizes here for some time, and they aren't anything impressive, but none the less, it's something for free.

Anyone that submits a good one to me with the answers and questions will be noted in future games, but is not eligible for that particular round.

Until they arrive, I'll keep a list of those of you that win.

Answer all of the following questions. The best answer that gets it correct wins.

1. What's wrong with that auction? (Should be 2 items, misspelling and the non tiburon pictures aren't my point.)

2. Would you buy from this person? Why or why not?

Last i new recommended was not spelled "RECOMMONDED".
It doesn't say anywhere in the auction what vehicle it is for, except in the title.

I wouldn't buy from here mainly because it comes with no instructions, recommends professional installation (for a rather simple thing). Also what is the difference between a "racing" cold air intake system, and a regular CAI system? Product description is also very "universal".

Best i could do..... cool.gif

- That's not a CAI. It's not even routed where it grabs COLD air.
- Tube near the filter? NOT FOR OUR CARS.
- Washable filter? I dont think so.
- Wheres the air sensor go?
- Def no 12hp

And I wouldn't buy from this guy because of the above reasons.

No installation instructions

the filter is on the wrong end of the CAI

to quote a customer "People far waring never but from these thieves, never got product, call 911 please"

Black paint would make the CAI hotter.

The problems I have with it are:

1. In the text the US shipping price is $24.88 but in the Shipping and Payment details it is $20.99.

2. In the text they list a shipping price to Canada but in the Shipping and Payment details it says they will only ship to the US.

3. I didn't see anywhere that the picture was a universal picture and not specifically for the Tiburon but the product does not appear to be for a Tiburon and they show parts that would not be needed for our cars.

Although their feedback rating is good, I would not likely buy from them when they list conflicting information and mispell words, etc.

What's an L4? Is that supposed to be I4?

HP gain is rediculous.

I would consider it more of a short ram than a real cold air intake.

I hope the pic is not for the Tib because there's no hole for the IAT sensor and where does that bracket mount to?

He Engrish much suck!

Last i new recommended was not spelled "RECOMMONDED". - I said I wasn't worried about spelling.
It doesn't say anywhere in the auction what vehicle it is for, except in the title. - Nope

- That's not a CAI. It's not even routed where it grabs COLD air. - Nope
- Tube near the filter? NOT FOR OUR CARS. - Close...
- Washable filter? I dont think so. - Wrong. Lots of filters are washable. The new AEM ones you wash.
- Wheres the air sensor go? - In the hole on the tube...
- Def no 12hp - The AEM dyno'd at 12 and this is an AEM clone...

QUOTE (DrivingTibNaked @ Jan 10 2006, 03:54 AM)
No installation instructions - Nope

the filter is on the wrong end of the CAI - DING DING DING!!! WE HAVE A PARTIAL WINNER! The CAI is assembled backwards.

to quote a customer "People far waring never but from these thieves, never got product, call 911 please" - Nope

Black paint would make the CAI hotter. - Wrong.

2. In the text they list a shipping price to Canada but in the Shipping and Payment details it says they will only ship to the US. - Good point, but not what I'm looking for. Consider this a bonus point for you.

3. I didn't see anywhere that the picture was a universal picture and not specifically for the Tiburon but the product does not appear to be for a Tiburon and they show parts that would not be needed for our cars. - Wrong, it's a Tiburon AEM clone, but why does it look wrong?

I would consider it more of a short ram than a real cold air intake. - Nope. Come on Jon, I'd expect an expert like you to see it right off.

I hope the pic is not for the Tib because there's no hole for the IAT sensor and where does that bracket mount to?- Yes there is, and with where everything is located in that picture, and the other CORRECT answers here, you should get it.

Keep trying guys.
