My brother is a detective and they have BIG import probs down here... mostly little kids in Hondas with a fart can and a movie on their mind... they all decide to street race and act stupid on the road... police hate imports mostly b/c they see one and assume were all street racing...

 

As far as I know.. the only time they can give you problems with your rims.. if the wheels stick out beyond the body of the car. Personally, I would like to see him write you ticket for going from 15 to 18... does that mean my 16s are illegal because my car came with the steel pressed 14s?

 

I don't seem to have any trouble with the local law inforcement. I guess I am a little too old for racing people on the street and risking injuring someone, getting a ticket or damaging my car. One thing I do notice, is that if you drive "fairly" normal, i.e.(not doing a burnout in front of the donut shop) the police really leave you alone.

I live in pittsburgh pa `the cop that keeps givin me shit was an inspecter for ten years... and the way the law is wrote can be precived that way, it dosen't actually say it but all depends on the way you look at it .....alot of things would be illegal if what he said was true... like changing the radio or something stupid because its about altering your vehical from stock, its a pain in the ass cause he is in tight with the judge and she caters to him, i bet he has busted atleast 20 of my friends for tint no lie....he's the :twisted:
