Okay, Now that I've got more free time online, I've been wanting to share some of my favorite music with you folks, my family here.

Weekly, I will be putting up, text only (maybe some links to samples or free versions), of a song and album of the week.

The albums will be anything from any time, but the songs will probably be something new I'm hearing on XM radio.

For the initial episode...

Song of the Week

Trona - Dope Jam

If you like The Crystal Method, you will love this artist. Heard this a few times in the past week on XM The System, channel 82, and wanted to share with you.

A clip of it can be listened to here.

Can listen to some of his remakes and such.

Album of the week!

Okay, I'm sure everyone is expecting me to put up a Crystal Method album.

Well, you are right.

The Crystal Method - Vegas

This is one of the downright best albums ever made. Every song on this album could be released today (originally released in 1997), and be just as popular as they were when they started. The Vegas Deluxe version, 10th Anniversary, is a great purchase, and has some VERY good remixes on it. If you've never listened to them, NOW IS THE TIME! Hahahah. This is the album that got me into Electronica in general, just absolutely fantastic. ALl of their albums are amazing, and have enough bass to make you want to shatter your eardrums, enough groove to make you want to drive for an extra hour after you pull up to your house.

If you scroll to the bottom, you can listen to most any song they've ever done, for free.

If you never get a chance to see them in concert/spinning/club hopping, you are truly missing out.

Word. from Trip like I do, to Get busy child, to comming back, best album ever. Crystal method is the only group that I have as a playlist on my iPod. I'd love to see them in concert.

Good choice with dope jam. I need a copy of it.
