Sean Hauck,

Hello Sean Hauck, my name is Jesse Petersen. I am a Detective with the Redmond Police Department in Oregon, US. I am currently investigating a crime where Danny Cline may have been selling stolen property on E-Bay. The stolen property may have belonged to Fuel Safe. In reviewing Danny Cline’s eBay records I noticed on 03/16/06, you bought a WALBRO GSS307 High Performance Fuel Pump Kit 255 LPH from Danny Cline with the e-mail address dc_756@yahoo.com. His seller name at the time was gr8_deelz_4u_1972.

The District Attorney has also asked me to recover any and all of this property. Do you still have the BOSCH WALBRO GSS307 High Performance Fuel Pump Kit 255 LPH Danny Cline sold you? If so, could I get it from you? Do you have any documentation of this transaction? Did you see Fuel Safe or Aircraft Rubber Manufacturing on any of the products?

If you have a chance could you please call me? My work direct line is 541-504-3473. My work cell phone number is 541-948-0348. If you would like (to save money from a long distance phone call) I can call you.

Thanks for your assistance in this case,

Jesse Petersen

Detective

Redmond Police Department

I got this in my email this evening. I bought that fuel pump almost two years ago and sold it after that. I called him and left a message at both numbers. I'm curious to see where this go's.

scary stuff. you sure it's real? he would have called you personally. maybe it's someone posing... i dunno. talk to him, see what he wants. if it was that long ago and it's already been sold he can have nothing from you. what gets me is they usually call personally.

RDTiburon.com Member,

I'm Detective smith from the downtown department of investigations.

I saw your account on-ebay so now I am trying to get the parts that I saw you buy a long time ago. So I'm going to make up credentials and a fake story about how the seller actually stole it. If you would, give me a call at my cell phone number or my home phone number. We can meet up and I'll be wearing a real business suit or a cop's uniform if you like.

Thanks alot for your cooperation,
Dick Smith

It's simple, call the Redmond Police Dept, and ask for his name. Here's the number http://www.road-police.com/police/Oregon/R...247/police.html

^ What he said. If theres no cop or detective there by that name, then tell the police the guy is posing as a cop and give them his number and the email so they can go after him.

thats pretty risky of someone to try for a 100$ fuel pump.. lmao.gif

i could see if it was like a 1300$ turbo or something, but someone cover a 100$ pump..

work number seems to be legit though.. redmond PD phone is 541-504-3400 and the 'officers' extension is 43.

i would think it is probably legit.. like you said.. 2 years ago.. would be a PITA to find out what you got on ebay 2 years ago, then have the balls to contact you, and attempt to make up some BS to get it back..
