I like REDZ idea, cheaper price with more options sounds good, but thats only if a site on the net can be found for it. That would be cool if it had RD dates on it too

topspeed...im talking about birthdays. everyone will post up their bday in the new topic ill create. they have till a SET DATE to post. after that day no more posting when your bday is. If you missed the last day to post it up, too bad. So say I give everyone till december 20th to post their bday, once the 21st comes along no more posting. Im making a set date so then after the 20th, is when production will start

would that be car of the month for this past year? Cause I was December COTM (I think) and I forget which year that was considered, this year or last year.

I agree there should be other pictures in other parts of the calendar.

 

Since the calendar will be for 2007, we are going to use 2006 COTM winners. and since madjohn and viper are the most recent COTY, we will use them on the front cover.

Now as for other pictures, the only thing i can think of is a big colage on the back page??


EDIT...actually, seein as this is the FIRST calendar, should we use the first COTM winners??? what i mean is, if the first COTM winner was from 2004, should we use the 2004 winners for THIS calendar, then for the 2008 calendar use the 2005 winners and then the 2009 calendar use the 2006 winners? or is that just a PITA?

 

The main problem I see is nice super-high-res pictures.
I dont care if its COTM or not, but we need large picture files.
I dont think going into the archives of peoples COTM posts will get us the quality we need.

 

That's a given. I was saying that we could switch it up so it's not just all the outside of a car. I'd like to see good interiors, good sterio shots, Jon's engine bay.. not just the same old picture of the outside of a stationary car. Variety.

 

i think we should just stick with one year back, like COTM 06 winners for the 07 calendar and so on.. and we dont HAVE to use the posted pics that were for COTM, the people who will be on that certain month can come up with their fav. current pic/pics in high resolution..

and who are the cheapass's who wont pay 20$ for a one-off calendar... come on..

back page idea: collage of about 20-30 pics, and a history of rd in a paragraph in the middle
