Ok, someone got me into downloading Bit Torrent files a few days ago and now I'm able to get some stuff I wanted.

Some of the files I have DL'ed are folders full of .rar files, numbered usually. I've got Winrar installed and want to extract all the files from these (One has 47 files) but I can't figure out how to do this. When I highlight all of the files and extract them, it asks me weather or not to overwrite this file or that.

I have no clue what I'm doing. Can someone IM me and help?

Thanks! oops.gif

i haven't used winrar in a long time, but from what i see you wrote, make sure that the directory you are sending the extracted files to isn't the same folder that the rared files are in. i think it's in options or settings to change the extracted-to folder. other than that, make sure you hilight all the the files to be extracted together into the one big one, and then hit extract. good luck, if it's more than that, i'd be no help. :?

Yea
What Phroq said
I'm no WinRAR expert, but just extracted it to a different dir.
Also Win RAR can also install Bin files,... it's pretty good.

Bit Torrent kicks ass too!
Everything and anything you can think of, and know how to find is there

Default Whats waiting to be installed on my car...

I know how to change directories and stuff.

This sucks.

Maybe I can find these in ISO's instead. That's MUCH easier.

hey REDZ,

if the files have extensions rar, r00, r01, r02, and so on, then just extract .rar file

winrar should automatically move onto the next file

also, if the filenames haev ***numbers.rar, then you should be able to extract the whole thing when you just extract the very first file (e.g. file01.rar)

hope this works =)
