Gran Turismorator
You scored 32% You are a respectable tuner. You probably subscribe to one or more tuner magazines and know, quite a bit about your car and/or racing in general. Either that or you play a shitload of GT3. At any rate, you recognize the difference between a wastegate and a blow-off valve. In time, and with practice, you may attain "Racer X" status since it is supposed that you are relatively new to tuning and still have much to learn. Keep, working, and thank the maker that you're not a ricer.

My test tracked 1 variable How you compared to other people your age and gender:
You scored higher than 83% on ricegrains

Some of the questions were kinda lame, Everyone is more familiar with walmart then with garrett. I'll maybe buy 2 things from garrett but get 100x more things from walmart, ya know.

Anyway, I got the NON-RACER. That one about the body kit ruined me. For the getting $1000 one I had to choose the "paint my kit that's on my car" cause I got shafted and was being honest. DAMMIT.

hrmmmm, I wonder.

**EDIT**

I knew it!! Only thing I changed the second time is from walmart to Garrett and I got Gran-turismonater or whatever. WTF. He should put in in respect to car parts.

Bastard. This totally means I'm a ricer! yikes.gif

22% GrandTurismator, lol

What did the guys that got good scores answered on:

1) which exhaust is good for 1.6L stock civic? I put stock!!!
2) White stuff in your coolant? I have no idea, think it's because of bad thermostat.
3) which one is the "vtec" for nissans? I put vvl
4) wtf is fender rolling???
5) Which handling characteristic is fundamentally better for racing? I put understeer.

The Non-Racer
You scored 48% One of two things happened if you received this rating. Either you know absolutely nothing about tuner culture and chose "no idea" often. In this case, i guess i could say congratulations, but really you wasted your time taking this test...actually this test is a waste of time for everyone. The second option is a little rarer. You must be someone that knows a lot about either mechanics or racing, but jack about the other subject....or you're just guessing. Either way, congratulations....you're mediocre...but still not a ricer, for which you should be thankful My test tracked 1 variable How you compared to other people your age and gender:
You scored higher than 95% on ricegrains

oh well i really dont know a whole lot about some of this stuff. And really i think the main thing that hurt is the whole changing oil thing. I have mine done dont change it my self so who knows!

1) I put 2inch for the 1.6. If you've ever seen a stock 1.6L Civic exhaust you would know why... straws from Burger King are bigger.

2) This one got me. I put a bad temp sensor.

3) VVL is el-correcto.

4) Fender rolling is where you roll the fender to put bigger wheels/tires on. I didn't know if they thought it was ricey or if it was for bigger tires for more contact patch on the track...

5) I put understeer as well. I don't race so I thought a little bit of understeer handles better than a little bit of oversteer IMO.

number two is a bad headgasket. The whitestuff if the froth you get when oil and coolant are allowed to mix and get aggitated in an engine.
