Used to do dirt buggys, 1/8th scale. my last car was the Pirate M1, NovaRossi motor and pipe, alloy flywheel, forgot what the radio was but the throttle servo was a high speed coreless unit, the steering servo was a high torque unit out of Futaba.

I had a Fox..don't remember who made it but it was an off road R/C and very fast in it's time (late 80's). I raced it against a friend's car and it beat it...lol
Currently, I have a C5-R Corvette scale 1:10 R/C. it only weighs a couple of pounds and is pretty fast too. I don't use it..only to chase the cats..but I have it displayed on my cabnet..very pretty car.

Doode, are you freaking kidding me?

I'm starting to think we are related.

I had one too. I loved that car. Had a sealed chassis to keep out dirt and you could drive it thru puddles and stuff. Loved that car.

I still have 2. A old JRXPro and a Kyosho Monster Vette.

I can highly relate. I Have a Hpi nitro rs4 used less than 20 runs and then i was able to drive a real car and no time to play with the RC. I Still have it but im about to sell it for "real" car parts.
