You know i've only had this guy say like two things to me and already i've learned to ignore his whimsical nonsense. Just let the ricer think he's cool and let him think he knows everything.

I'm more curious as to how he was able to quickly bring the car from 140mph to 0mph in around 4-5 seconds.
But... all the technical questions are answered when you see who the technical director of the movie was.
Plot=bad
Technical accuracy=bad
Acting=eh... so so
Overall Impression=bad

Does it matter how accurate the movie was. It was prob the most money making movie of the year and is still making money like there is no tomorrow. I guess Gone in 60 Seconds must of sucked too because of how fake the Shelby was jumping over the cars at the end. Sorry but if you didn't like it then you don't belong behind the wheel of an import. Period!!

Is technical accuracy important to me? It sure is. I haven't spent countless hours learning and dissecting every nook and cranny of my car, for nothing. As for money making, yeah it sure did make a hell of a lot of money the first weekend it opened. What happened after that? Ticket sales dropped over 50% as word of mouth spread. A very unusual behavior for a blockbuster movie.
Gone in 60 Seconds had ten times the better plot. MUCH better stunts, and well the acting speaks for itself.
I'm not going to give a movie a good review if it sucks. Granted it's the first Hollywood import movie made, but it still sucks. But the cars sure were pretty.
If you want to say I don't belong behind the wheel of an import because I think the movie was bad, come on down to Atco Raceway in NJ this Fri. and I'll show you an import. I'll also show you more technical knowledge about the car you drive, than any movie could ever hope to.
BTW- Opinions are like assholes, everyone has them. If someone farts don't take it personally.

Buddy i'm not gonna sit here and say who has a better car than who. YOu know squat about me and you know squat about what I know about cars and you know squat about what I drive. This isn't a flame forum so keep the "i'll show you and import" and "i'll show you more about your car" crap out of here. We're talkin about the movie here. You've got two posts on this forum. It's a good idea to stay on peeps good sides.

Funny thing you should mention that. We WERE talking about the movie. However, you didn't like my opinion of THE MOVIE so you then decided to say I don't belong behind the wheel of an import. So, I offered to prove you wrong. You made it personal so I followed suit. Don't start crying when someone feeds you your own medicine.
I'll put it to you this way. What you do to your car for looks (judging by the content of your signature), I do the equivalant to my car, but for the sake of performance.
You're taking this way to personal. And I'm outtie 5000.

if technical accuracy is improtant to you, how could you possibly like gone in 60 seconds??? where was the technical genious in that movie??? and of coarse ticket pricess are ganna drop. when they are that high up, theres no place for them to go but down. im not saying its a "blockbuster" but to say it was a terrible movie cause there was some fiction in there is plain dumb.
if you wanna learn something about imports and cars then read a book or go to school. if you wanna see a sick movie about sweet cars and racing, then see the fast and the furious.
and it looks like to me that someone registered twice so they could get himself to back himself up *cough*B16A2*cough* rolleyes.gif
