I think it was CompUSA that had a deal where you purchase a 40" or bigger Sony HD TV and you guarantee a PS3. By selling the PS3, it would have been like getting the TV free

Yeah man, I work at target and there have been people camping out there for 3 days now. I went over to talk to one of them and he was just some snoby rich kid telling me about his brand new BMW he just bought and hes having it "hooked" up. Doesnt know whats goin in it... his friend looks like hes never seen the light of day.... sigh, F***Ing rich kids with mommy and daddy's money.

I dropped by a store this morning to see how the lines are... lines lines EVERYWHERE. If someplace is selling PS3, there are people waiting for it. haha.
Anyways, talked to this one guy who was strolling up to see how many units the place has; we got to talking and he said he's already sold two units on ebay for $2500 each and was looking around to see if he can get a 3rd unit.
That's almost $4,000 in profit!!! From just waiting outside a store for a couple days. Granted it's not that fun to camp, however, for 2 days of "work"... $4,000... that's insane.

Im not too sure if I heard this correctly but i was listening to the jersey guys (radio show) and they were saying some nutcase bought one for 99,000$$ on ebay... sounds like a bunch of sh8t but just looking at the prices now... 5200, 4900..etc.etc, just imagine what its gonna be like 2 weeks b4 christmas. I definatly shoulda cut work to wait in line lol.

They are shipping more before Christmas. There is another shipment coming in 2-3 weeks.
I got one (20 gig), my roommate got two(20 gig at the store, 60gig on order that is coming in two weeks). I made ~600 bucks off mine, not bad for 30 hours sitting on my butt. I finished all my college work for the last two weeks before exams. cool.gif

There is like 23,000 systems now listed. The prices are dropping, lol. And what's with the jackasses selling e-mail addresses for the ps3? WTF? And people are bidding! $600 for an e-mail?

LOL, the walmart i work at was supposed to get 10 PS3s, and i was in the walmart mcdonalds today on break chilling with a friend of mine, when i over heard this one kid complaining that he was the seventh person in line and he camped for three days, and when they brought out the PS3's they only had 6, now he has to wait till march. lmao.gif
