I'm not too surprized its not true. Like I said, I never heard about it in November, and that would've definitely been talked about a lot!

I remember a teacher when I was in middle school commenting on tresspassing laws, basically saying that MT allows property owners rights to 'shoot to kill' in defence of their property. (hence my 'DO NOT trespass' comment earlier - sorry for not explaining that one, last night was rum night at my house) I did some research and learned something different tho this morning, an attourney (from Billings, MT) stating on his website that "Generally speaking, an owner of property may not use deadly force to defend the property." Good thing to know, as I think there a pretty common misconseption about that here in MT.
