The cashier who sold you the ticket? Small cut?



Me... $10K. I see her almost every day and would feel it's a nice karma gesture.

The only person who would get a cut is Uncle Sam... and that isn't because I *want* to...

 

We don't pay taxes on lottery winnings here in Canada!





We also don't have lotteries that give away 500 billion dollars like the US either. Our max jackpots are around 50 million. What a rip off! LOL!

 

I'd give a pretty decent tip to the cashier in said situation.



The rest of my friends/family can come to my epic parties and enjoy the sight of my massive car collection. No handouts Work for it like he/she did.

 

I would tip for sure. $10K out of $250 million (what you probably get after taxes) is like a couple of cents out of a $100 bill.

 

Hell no. They aren't doing anything to impact your chance of winning, are they? They have zero bearing on the entire situation.



I'm a greedy SOB with my money, but I won't hesitate to take care of friends and family. Strangers? F'em.
