I'm a true American melting pot, but mostly German and Scottish. My grandmother's name was Schumacher and about as German as they come

I am mostly Polish, some French and German (Bavarian near Polish border). We have one family crest (nobles) from the 1700's in France, another family crest from 1800's Poland (Poland was one of the richest countries in the world before it was cremated and nuked to bits and pieces), and two of my ancestors fought for Napoleon and survived in the Polish-Russo war that sopped the communist invasion of Europe in 1812. My grandfather fought and survived World War I. My father fought and survived in the underground and Warsaw Uprising, and 3 concentration camps.

Republic of Texas FTW!!! Secede!!!!

Father's side traced back to the boat where my great....great grandfather came from Ireland.
My mother's side was traced back to the Republic of Texas days, but haven't gotten any further than that.
