Absinthe FTW!

Yeah. I wish we could get it here without resorting to "interesting" methods of aquiring it. Man, some absinthe is the grossest stuff in the world though...the high potency stuff is really effective if you swish it in your mouth before swallowing. It gets absorbed under your tongue much faster.

We cant get absinthe here either. One of my friends sister tried to bring it through customs. They took it from her and poured it down the drain.

 

Ontario has a 10ppm max thujone regulation. Anything under that should be legal. Most absinthe is not tested for thujone content and therefore probably won't make it through.

My favorite has a higher thujone content than that though. wink.gif

 

I did not know that. I just had my last test of this semester yesterday and I think Im going to get drunk this weekend to celebrate.

 

Congrats! Sounds like a good occasion to drink. Whatever you do don't buy the Hill's Absinth available at Canadaan liquor stores. At 1.5ppm they couldn't even spell absinthe with an e because it's so weak. Plus from what I've heard it's gross too. With the exchange rate vs. the Euro I don't know if I'll ever drink absinthe again...it costs me 88 Euros for a bottle of my favorite kind shipped to my door. Today that would be about $138/bottle so it's not worth it.

 

Naw!! Hypnotiq ftw!! I actually finally tried it after wanting to for soooo long and its the best!! I can actually drink it by itself and it seriously does taste like candy!!

 

Not unless it's a mild hallucinogen or better. Lol!

As far as regular alcohol goes I'm pretty much a beer drinker but I also like vodka, rum, and tequila primarily when it comes to hard liquor. I'm not brand loyal but I won't drink the crap brands either. I like to mix up drinks for people based on their tastes that I think they'll like. I usually do a pretty good job making something people will like even picky people.

Vodka gives you less of a hangover than any other liquor per volume of alcohol in laboratory tests.
