Pope Francis has said gay people should not be marginalised but integrated into society.
Speaking to reporters on a flight back from Brazil, he reaffirmed the Roman Catholic Church's position that homosexual acts were sinful, but homosexual orientation was not.
He was responding to questions about whether there was a "gay lobby" in the Vatican.
"If a person is gay and seeks God and has good will, who am I to judge them?"
He also said he wanted a greater role for women in the Church, but insisted they could not be priests.

I think this is a great move for the church.
Though I'm hardly a "religious fanatic," I think its about damn time that the church wake up. Don't like it? Stop wearing polyester suits with cotton pants in the house of the lord.

I was born/raised Catholic and got out of it as soon as I was 18 and could tell my parents I wasn't going anymore. With that said, I am impressed with Pope Francis and his moves so far. Seems to be going the right way for sure.

Somebody seeking to get right with God will want to do what God wants, and want to stop doing what God has said he dislikes. If you give up the buggery because God hates it, by definition you're no longer a homer because the action defines the group. If you are also a person of good will, that's fine . . . but continuing to intentionally do something you can read right there in your Bible god doesn't want you to do is the very definition of sin. The Pope is, for catholics, THE guy to judge! I'm not catholic so I don't care that he got it exactly wrong, but I am guessing they get approximately zero additional churchgoers because of this, and they might lose a bunch.

Bury your sh*t on other peoples property instead of using the toilet like a human being.
No more porn (just making assumptions based on ownership of testicles)
Hope you're free of ink
Bye bye bacon
The barber is a witch and should be burned
Since he's not people anymore its legit
Don't swear at all. Gawddamnit
No more pulling OT on Sunday.
Ducttape your wifes mouth in church. b*tches to be seen and not heard, so says her creator.
Be careful not to injure your junk, that's the key to the great beyond.
Was it a nice day for a white weeding?
If so, I hope you skipped the shrimp cocktail.
And for f*ck's sake, stop gossiping.
If recollection serves he was previously very vocal about gay marriage. He's probably trying not to make huge waves at this time rather than flip-flopping his position. Only time will tell how the great creator personally whispers in his ear.
