Well, I usually don't do stuff like this, you guys and gals know that, but this is a special case to me, so I'm posting.
One of my best friends, Kim, has a daughter with some problems. We went to High School together and became very good friends, and kept up while I was away in the Army. Her husband is a disabled Navy Veteran in pretty bad shape, but he is improving. She's one of the only people from those days I still talk to, and she's a great person. Her family now lives in Florida and their daughter needs help, in the form of donations. I don't want to make folks read something they will not help with, so if you are in the like mind to help out a wonderful person and her family with a small donation, please check here.

Will you please verify with Kim that donating via Paypal with "Special Instructions" of "Donate to Jennifer Petersen" will help her directly?
If it won't, then I'd prefer to send her funds directly.

This forum has had some unbelievable fund raisers for our members. This is a great way for us to reach out to those who really need help.
I encourage everybody to send at least $5 for this cause, but make it $15 if you're financially able to.

I thought I'd give everyone an update here.
Your money mattered. Everyone that donated managed to get her case pushed up and noticed by someone in the news. It got put in the paper and a fund raiser ensued, and now she's fully funded. Kim wanted me to thank you all so much, you guys made a HUGE difference in someone's life.
