phillies ftw
^I got to agree. Being the best in the NL doesnt say much. The talent level in the NL and AL is way off. I think if the Phillies were in the AL they wouldnt have even made the playoffs. Im taking nothin from them but they stand no chance against the Yanks and very little chance against the Angels.

i'm a huge yankees fan, have been for over 20 years, but the phillies will beat them, probably in 6 games. the phillies have a better bullpen, good starters, are younger and faster, and can hit runners on base in like it's a fricken video game. the yanks have slipped by on mediocre pitching (sabatha has been the only consistent pitcher) and a bullpen that seems to either give up 10 walks each or 10 runs each. their steals have been brutal slow and ALWAYS badly called, and other than a-rod and maybe jeter, the rest of the team hasn't hit worth a damn. even marky t at 1st base, who deserves about 40 gold glove awards, is 1 for 18 with 2 walks.

after watching last nights game, 90% of the phillies lineup can hit. last night the dodgers shut howard down. He did not get a single hit. He only got walked. The yankees or angels are going to have to shut down all of their hitters not just the big boys if they want to win.
GO PHILLIES!!!!!!!
