I've seen a few people saying it's a hoax. It's not.
I've never been a fan of the movies, but he was a really cool guy in person. I used to turn wrenches for the TH Motorsports Redline Time Attack Subaru and he was usually out there racing his M3. Had the chance to have a conversation with him once, and he left a very good impression. I can tell you, "Spilner" was a caricature of the real man. He knew alot about cars and was a pretty good driver. It was then that I found out we were the same age. I always thought he was younger. He will be missed buy ricers and real car guys alike. RIP Paul.

Internet got super slow and caused quadruple posting. I posted in one of them a link, and that most of the pages all came from TMZ. Hoped that it was fake, but it seems that since its now coming from his Facebook and twitter pages, it's unfortunately not. 
No worries about it though, I took care of it.
