One to watch out for!!!!
If you pull up beside the new Altima SE, think before you jump. This freeking thing is BAD. For comparison the new Impreza WRX does 0-60 in 5.7 and the quarter mile in 14.2. The Altima SE with the 2.7l V-6 does 0-60 in 5.9 and the quarter in 14.4. Thats one BAD A$$ import family sedan. It also gives an idea into what the potential of the new Sentra SE-R Spec V could be. eek.gif eek.gif eek.gif
The Altimas are pretty bad a$$.

Ive seen 2 of the new altimas at work. One was the 2.7L V-6 and one was a 2.5 "Z-Type" that had a "sports" package applied to it.
I have not managed to get photos of either yet. On days I bring in my camera, I can't find them...then of course on the days I don't bring in my camera...there they are! wink.gif

As far as I know it is 240hp, and yes it is lighter then a Maxima but the Altima is still 3000 lbs. That's a boat. I would really like to see some one take an Altima to a drag race, I don't think that anyone other then a race driver would do very well with the Altima.

Yep, you're right, it is 240hp and if you think that about the driver, then also consider this, the times you see for everything else is done by the same people.
Another correction as well, it is a 3.5l engine. Also the curb weight is 3178 and the tests were done by Motorweek drivers, not race car drivers. So boat or not, thats one fast damn boat that will outrun a stock Corrado VR6 or new GTi VR6. smile.gif

I thought the Rustang had 260... As of a few years ago, when they first went to the 4.6.. Not a Ford guy, so I may be wrong.. smile.gif Just busting balls!! wink.gif
