Default OLD classics

I'm looking for slow romantic songs from before 1970's. Something famous, something that hit the charts. I really can't think of anything and I'm sure some one here might know of a couple.

Not sure if these were before 1970, but it's damn close smile.gif

Paul Anka - Puppy Love
Bobby Darin - Dream Lover
Betty Everett - The Shoop Shoop Song (It's In His Kiss)
I have no idea about the artist - Earth Angel But it was in Back to the Future
Chad and Jeremy - A Summer Song
Etta James - At Last
Everly Brothers - Dream
joe cocker - You Are So Beautiful
Percy sledge - when a man loves a woman
Righteous Brothers - Unchained Melody
Skyliners - Since I Don't Have You
The Temptations - My girl

Good luck wink1.gif

The Big Bopper - Chantilly Lace

That's a real throwback jam.

Any Al Green is good too. Dean Martin has some real classics too.

Or some Marvin Gaye, some Luther Vandross, Ready for the World, Minnie Riperton, and Stevie Wonder. Those are all great old school artists.

If he don't mind some new stuff, John Legend's new CD is very classy.

The beatles also had some love songs if you can find them. They are peppered through the earlier stuff.
