mang all this has been talked about

the core system doesnt allow you to save games to the hard drive cuz there is no hard drive
you have to buy the hard drive and attach it to the system

there will be memory cards also

the emulators will automatically dl when you put the game in the system BUT ONLY IF YOU HAVE THE HARD DRIVE

and all you had to do was click on that first link redz posted...

 

All I know is that I'm going to be at WalMart Tuesday at midnight waiting for them to sell these things!

 

BTW, I just got back from Gamestop. They have 89 Xbox 360's reserved at the one I went to and are only getting 24 of them in.

I still don't think this thing is worth the hype or the money inititally, just like the first xbox. Seriously, you guys want to drop so much money at once when there isn't too much out yet? I thought they would have at least put some great games out for the launch, which they didn't, like last time. :\

And no hard drive in the core system? What's the point of that?

Sorry to be the negative Nancy... but I can't grasp the hype.

 

Price is a well founded arguement here. Fortunately for me, my wife is going to buy it for me for my XMas gift so price isn't an issue..hehe wink1.gif

 

the eb games i reserverd mine from has about 300 of them reserved there only getting 30 this shipment i am number 2 on the list so i get mine monday night.......woooohoooo

It's way worth it. Iw as gonna wait until the prices dropped then I played one. The controllers, the graphics, then there's the additional stuff. I've been wanting a way to play videos and music from my PC on the sound system/TV in the living room, here's a perfect solution. I need another Xbox anyways for my son, so he gets the old one. My birthday is in like 3 weeks.

As for not too much out for it? Who cares? The games I play the most on the Xbox are emulated on it, that's good enough for me. Gun is out for it, so is Perfect Dark Zero and the next Morrowind and Call of Duty 2. That's enough to keep me busy for months.

Also, I play on live every day. I want all the new goodies. Now I just need to sell my DVD/Theater system, get a good one that supports digital audio input, and get a HDTV.

BTW, there's a 32 Inch LCD HDTV at Walmart, HYUNDAI, for $980.

 

mang i saw a demo of gun and asked the guy at gamestop about it(since they already played the 360) and he said gun was way to short

i might get kameo or perfect dark

i cant wait only 2 more days...
