besides the fact that i can't have my car?? lol...and i probably have the worst unit on the peninsula. and no i don't just shop and drink, i don't really drink much anymore. i spend my weekends up in yongsan with my girl now. it gets me out and away from all the BS that my company shovels out.

WTF are you guys doing?

I was stationed in Camp Casey for my last 18 months, paid to fly my wife over and she stayed with me. We lived off post with BAH. We went to Yongsan all the time, went hiking in the mountains, to the Museums, shopping, Everland, there is so much to do there, no way to get bored.

All units shovel BS, find reasons to LIKE your time away.

Many military folks go to countries to get drunk and do stupid crap; they totally ignore the culture and everything. Korea as well as other countries have tons of things to do. You don't need a car in Korea too. Their public transportation is cheap and very efficient.
