If you possess a 10 round capable magazine and load more than 7 rounds into it inside your home it's a $200 fine and up to 3 months in prison, outside of your home its $200 and up to 6 months in prison.

I am about to be a criminal if that passes via the fed. :-/

Gun control = using both hands.

Wytch, the current administration in Texas is saying you effectively wouldn't be, because they won't let the .fed enforce it.

Sorry to post late on this, but just had to add - if I lived in NY, instead of keeping 15 rounds in a handgun, I'd simply keep 2 handguns with 7 rounds in each. Who said I didn't need a reason to buy more guns? Just like almost every other recent mass shooting - they could only have 30 rounds in a magazine, so they took multiple guns and multiple magazines! They're missing the point.

As you say: gun control is not about the gun.

They said on the news this morning that a local assemblyman is showing that the Cuomo anti-gun law has draconian provisions that people did not see, such as 2-gun limit per household, immediate outlawing of semi-automatic weapons, and outlawing all handguns in 5 years. No warrant confiscation needed of guns either. sh*t is about to get real!

There's just one leeeeeetle problem with confiscating guns: You are trying to take guns away from people who might not give them up. Eventually, the government runs out of people willing to go a'confiscatin'.

If, by that point, there is a full scale civil war under way, let's all do our best to remember that during the Bosnian conflict, President Clinton set the example that the USA considers political leaders and the press to be legitimate targets of war. Just sayin.
