Hey alpha looks like you guys have a good plan set up. At least we are still trying to stay together. I can't wait until this july in daytona. Hopefully the southern chapter won't be the only ones their. I'm taking time off just to make sure I make it.

 

Boricua, if everything plans out right, I may be able to make the drive to Daytona (i'll be going to college there this Fall) so might as well get down there early.

We drove to Seattle from Tampa, FL 7 years ago and it took us 5 days non-stop.

I was set on going a month ago but now with the Eureka, CA meet and Vegas meet I may not be able to make it.....but Daytona is SO FUN!

I have been frustrated I lost my links and couldnt find how to get back here. Finally located my old posts and just wanted to ask if there was still going to be a meeting on the West Side that I might be able to drive over to attend ... it would have to be in the afternoon of course, give me 5 or so hrs to get over there ... I still cant figure out how to post pics, but if you go to my cardomain site, the first 4 pics are brand new and MAN am I getting great comments!! I still have a few things to get fixed, but its looking great and Im prepping for show season. Would really like to hear from a few people ... these are my questions - 1. Any meetings? 2. Having problems with cops about my speedo, stock wheels is 15 and I have 17, these are causing speedo problems at speed and I got a ticket. How can I fix? 3. I have a Veilside clone kit on my car and the clips in front of the wheels holding up the sides are stripped because of our lovely Spokane potholes .. any suggestions of what to do? Hey man, YES there is a meet.
I'm planning a meet this Saturday!! We're meeting in Renton (just south of Seattle) and then driving to Olympia (1 hour south of Seattle).

We are meeting at Fry's Electronic's Parking Lot (I'll get directions if your interested) at 3:45pm -4:00pm on Saturday March 19th.
Then driving to Olympia to eat and say hello to some new members.

Do you have a friend out here where you could stay the night and drive back Sunday?

Also there are BIG meets coming up in a few months:

First is July 15-19 (something like that)
Location is Eureka, California (northern Cali coast)
We'll be driving together with tibs from all over NW and Canada and meeting tibs from EVERYWHERE on the West US of A (including all of Cali, OR, NV, NM, UT, CO, etc.
Events include raffle for new tiburon, car show, drag strip next to airport, and party!
check these threads to get the Red Lion Hotel number and call to reserve hotel room (69 a night) if you're coming.

Second BIG meet in the second week of August
Location is LAS VEGAS! It's the annual Vegas meet, lots of fun in the sun, etc.

DAMN ... the ONE weekend I CANT come.

I am the Executive Officer of the US Navy Sea Cadets and sadly, the 3rd weekend of the month is our drill, and this weekend is our annual inspection, so this is the ONE weekend I absolutely CAN'T miss.

Keep me in mind and Email me ASAP with the next meeting ... I would really like to get over there and show the ride, and get tips from others. Its far from perfect, but I am pretty proud of it and get a ton of looks and comments here in Spokane ... probably pretty basic as far as Seattle area terms, but still want to see the other cars and get some tips.
