Default Re: What exactly does a SAFC 2 do?

Oh dont get me wrong, I do have transportation, crap that it is ... I have a dumpy rustbucket of a beige 1980 Toyota Longbed ... but unfortunately, the winter months Im usually busy with a lot of other stuff. I am psuedo military as Executive Officer of a US Navy Sea Cadet unit here ( I teach kids 13-17 about military life, marching, drill team, weapons, color guard, protocol etc) and we are just getting into our training periods for a competition in April ... but totally open to ideas and if I can make it, awesome!

Cheers, D

Sorry Guys,

I cant make any winter meetings because of the pass conditions and the car sits just too low to the ground t o drive through snow. I swear I will make the first available meeting when the snow is gone!

Happy New Year !

Okay, here's another link to a meet being planned on nt.com that NW tib drivers should keep in mind.

http://www.newtiburon.com/forums/showthrea...ead.php?t=31315

Basic Plans for this one:
Leave from Seattle on the 14th and drive down I-5 to Eureka (ETA: the 15th or 16th)
Stay in Euruka, where we will meet up with other drivers coming from CA, NV, NM, etc, at hotel (discounted rates already found) on the 16th and 17th
Drive back home on the 18th and 19th.
These dates apply to the month of July I believe (maybe June who knows...)
but I'm just showing you this link to get the word out that something is in the works over at nt.com...
When more info and definate dates, hotel rates, plans, number of people, etc. are all known I will post a thread in Car Shows and Group Meets here and make a list of who's going from the NW, Canada area so we can make the drive together.

As for this Saturdays meet, nobody will probably read this (since every one in the NW is slackin...)
I chased a girl down today after school (she drives a red Tiburon FX, very clean) and told her about the meet. I had tried to talk to her before but now I finally got a hold of her. She has to go to work in the evening but I think I convinced her to come anyways and if she doesn't want to follow us whereever we're driving to (cuz work) than I said that's cool just come so you can meet other tib fans, cuz it seems like she really likes her car.
Yeah...so, see you there whoever's going.
