Default Re: Gauge Group Buy GREAT DEAL from Splitfire!!

We're going to wait on the one that I've planned. Since I lost my job, I just have more important 5hit to worry about right now.

I wanted to post this though, because I'll be going. I also put it in the group meets section. This thread is over at NT.com, and there's going to be a LOT of rides there. I know it's short notice (and early as hell.... what's up with that?), but it's a good cause!

T O Y R U N!

YEP. THATS RIGHT! SUNDAY DEC. 5TH. 9:30 AM AT 272ND PARK N RIDE. EXIT 147. GONNA DRIVE DOWN TO OLYMPIA IZZY'S. DROP OFF TOYS AND EAT LIKE KINGS.
this is going to be a BIG ONE. i want to see everybody there. i mean everybody. this is for the children that are less fortunate. i don't care what you bring, a hot wheel or a stuffed animal. just an unopened toy. this will show the comunity that all the cars are not street racing all the time. this will be an open forum event. i will post on other forums. . YOU NEED TO BE AT THIS ONE!
LETS MAKE SOME KIDS HAVE A GREAT CHRISTMASS!

time: 9:30 am
place: 272nd park n ride. exit 147 off I-5 federal way washington.
bring: unopened toy

we will be leaving the park n ride at 10 am. drive the speed limit all the way down I-5 to exit 107. would be nice to have 75 to 100 cars in a line. drop off toys at izzy's pizza and eat for a whopping $5.99. they will have a breakfast buffet, pizza, salad bar, desert bar, soda. excellent food for an excellent price.

Hope to see you guys there.

Default Re: Slim/thin fans?

Was just checking to see what was up, I hadnt gotten anything in email in a while and was just seeing if I was still attached to the site. Since Im driving my dumpy 80 Toyota truck, I miss my baby who has been put to bed for the winter. Im anxious to redo it and make it fresh for spring, I have stripped all the decals off of it and pulled the electronics (my LED sign, stereo and sub, LEDs etc,) so they wont freeze ... but looking for ideas. Still wanna keep with the blue accents on white theme ...

BTW, has anyone had much luck with Shark Racing? I sent my $25 over a year ago to join, was supposed to get an ID sticker to put on the car with my SR # and never got one, and when I asked, they said they only send them out every few months ... well ... as I suspected ... nothing ... just searching for ideas .. Email me ? Thanks ! Happy Holidays from Spokane ! - D

SharkRacing is horrible man, and we ALL discourage doing business of any nature with them.

in fact, we call them 5hitRacing around here. i'd be suprised if you got anything at all from them.

just a note for future reference.

I think we are still meeting on Dec. the 18th at 1pm @ the Bellevue Park n Ride. Bring whoever, we're driving to Snoqualmie Falls for pics. I say "i think" because I dunno if it's going to get postponed, Alpha has the final word but he's nowhere to be seen? Too bad you didn't come to the last meet (150+ cars), we made the 10:00 news (channel 13). It was fun, but this one will be too.

Default What exactly does a SAFC 2 do?

I guess thats my biggest disadvantage for being in Spokane ... with my car barely higher than a pack of cigarettes off the ground, I cant risk driving it in winter months, especially over Snoqualmie Pass ... but I hope I can still be included and kept informed of events over on the west side and certainly in the spring I cant wait to take a drive over there and get some great suggestions as to what to do with my ride and how to make improvements. Spokane being the podunk town that it is, Im sure the Seattle area has the most newest and hottest stuff on the market, or at least guys that know what the hell they are talking about and where to get it!.

Thanks guys ! Happy Holidays !

Default the official RD REDZ ROAST!!!!!!!!

I know what you mean man, Spokane sucks...
Hey do you snowboard? I'm thinking of planning a meet and we could all go snowboarding (or skiing if that's your thing). You don't have to drive your tib to the pass, but you could ride with friends or something in a car a little higher than a pack of cigs. We could meet you at the pass or something like that. Also, some guys at nt.com were interested in a long distance scenic drive (maybe Grand Coulee Dam). I've been there and the drive there is awesome. Plenty of beautiful views and extremely long and flat straight-away's... tongue.gif
Anyway, nothing is finalized yet, guess you could say I'm just gauging interest for a trip like this. But I want to snowboard more this season and it might be fun to hang out with you guys and snowboard at the pass...
