its different when you're in the car. He kept telling me new things, like "when this happens do this," "or when going around a corner, do this" and it was all just so confusing. Its like he dumped it all on me at once, and I still was trying to figure out how to make it go. :x

Here's a good trick Liz, When starting from a stop SLOWLY press the accellerator then SLOWLY let off the clutch so the transition is gradual. You may piss someone off behind you for going slow, but the drive should be nice and smooth. As you get used to the feel of it, you can do it faster and faster. As far as coming up on a stop sign, just push in the clutch, use your brake, shift back into first after you stop and start from the begining again. laugh.gif

TC, have your bf drive you to a parking lot where there are no cars (are there any of those in NY lol.gif ) once there, practice starting, stopping etc. Wory about turns after you get the hang of starting and stopping.

$500 to register? I am assuming that is because of the taxes : Have the person who owned the car say that it was a gift (or that you got the car for $1... price to register goes down ALOT!)

^^^Yea, I am still up for it... I was lookin forward to a big meet tho : Hopefully some of the other ppl will still come...

yeah its sales tax. And its couldnt say it was a gift and the bill of sale said I purchased it for $5600. Normally I would say I bought it for like $100.
