Default ENgine oil grade.

Ok looks like I should have no problem switching insurance and registration over to the new tib. However I have to wait another day to get it and that only gives me like 3 days to learn how to drive it but I am confiident that I can do it.

I guess I should read the rest of the thread

first time i drove stick was out of the freakin dealership with brand new car cause husband has his stupid liscence suspended. Made it all the way home with only one stall. Then he made me drive him to work all week so I learned real quick. You shouldn't have a problem. It's actually quite easy once you learn to get into first.

heh I tried last night. Well my boyfriend didnt tell me to ease off the clutch, so I reved it up to 2k and took my foot off the clutch, the car jerked foward and then stalled out. "Oh yeah, you have to ease off the clutch" :x

So I finally got it to, then I didnt know what to do when I go to the stop sign, so I stalled out again. Then I turned the corner and pulled it into the driveway and parked it. Not bad, but Im still nervous about driving it. Just seems like so much to remember.

Been there, done that... wrote the book on stalling cars when I started out lol.gif

QUOTE (Casper)
You need to learn how to release the cluch SLOWLY (it takes practice). Basically, to start let it out slowly until you feel it grab (so you know where the cluch grabs) and then you have to (still slowly) release the cluch while giving the car a little gas so it does not stall. It will take time, but after a while you will get the hang of it.

I tried to warn ya smile.gif

You will get it... after a while, you will realize how the cluch actually works and you will be doing all of it second nature (except in heavy traffic, then you will just be furious LOL)
