So how many people have gotten alot of non-moving violations, and what were they for?

I've gotten so many, I dont even know where to start.

- WAY too many tint tickets (screw taking it off...I'll just pay the damn fine)
- Exhaust ticket
- Spoiler ticket (cops said its illegal to have an aftermarket high wing spoiler since its an obstruction of view....when I went to court, I took pics with me of the RD Tib FX with the factory high mount, and had the ticket thrown out...the cop fealt like an asshole)
- Stereo ticket
- No front plate
- Red turn signals
- Driving on bald tires
- Underglow neon being on while driving


Just about every single one of those were in an area where they put brand new rookie part time cops. So they were bored as hell, and pulled people over anything just so they could get some experience under their belts. Dont go by that area any more, but yeah....it sucks how many tickets I've gotten for complete bullshit. blink.gif

 

I got a fix it ticket for Illegal LED lighting for LED washer nozzles and a neon license plate frame. Hey that was in 2000, they were new then and not played out ricer stuff like now. I think I had to order the nozzles from Japan and the plate from Europe. I know the nozzles were about $75 and the frame was over $100. Now I feel stupid paying that for what is now $20 worth of Autozone crap that I wouldn't ever put on my car even if it was free. Lol.

 

Remember when tire valve stem lights were big? laugh.gif They were like $75 a set as well. tongue.gif

 

Funny you should mention them...I also had a set. I thought they were stupid once I got them though and took them off right away. They sounded cooler than they were.

 

I've been hit for loud & unnecessary, a few expired inspection stickers, and 13% tint on the front door windows (in a company vehicle) legal is 50%.

And while I didn't get a ticket I got pulled fo underglow on my old moped (one of the wal-mart 12c or 14 in. tubes hooked straight to the battery), no helmet / eye protection on the moped, and driving on the sidewalk, again on the moped. Those were all in one stop, but the cop said the only reason he pulled me was cause he wanted a closer look @ the underglow.

 

I had a fix it ticket for running open header on my way to get a custom cat back installed. I got stopped for having a necklace hanging from my rearveiw. I was stopped before just so the cop could Identify my elantra. He thought it was a subie or a mazda.

 

Got popped again couple days ago, inspection sticker, first nice cop I've met in a long time. (Didn't even pull the "What is that I smell" routine) cool.gif
