That's pretty cool. When I was in Iraq, we used those infrared goggles to tell how full the water tower was. The space in the tower which is empty heats up and cools down quickly, while the water itself stays warmer at night and cooler durring the day. You can actually see the water level in a water tower with infrared.
Night vision always makes for a cool way to mess with someone.
I've heard stories of a guy bopping his balogna at night in the middle of a field durring a training mission with night vision goggles on. Well, while he was abusing himself, the sun came up and he was still bopping because he thought noone could see him. lmao.gif
