The hood that I had ordered thruough AW came in last Saturday.
So I drove to Niagara from Mississauga with no hood on my car, only to find out when I got there that the hood that came in was for an 03 tib.
I waited 4 weeks for my hood. Now at least the right one is on order.
Perhaps maybe another 2 week wait. I was not impressed to say the least.

 

those guys at the warehouse dont know their Tiburons.... who did you talk to about the hood?

 

actaully I think that VIS screwed up the order and sent the wrong one.
cuz on the back of the GK hood it was stamped "HYND TIB 00-04"

I was dealing with Jason that works in the showroom, I honestly believe that he is trying his best, and I know that he ordered an 01 hood, it just got screwed up somehow.

Remember that shops that deal in aftermarket stuff, don't really get too many people with older Tibs coming in the door. It is mostly Honda stuff.
Thats what the specailize in. Because they can sell a lot more of it.

 

OH i know that all too well.... the first time i went in there to get prices on stuff they were like "you drive a what?"

i thought it would be easy to buy for a Tiburon, like my Mustang i had before but all was not so... you have to do a lot of research and search and search and search for any of this stuff... but whatever.. all i know is that NO ONE has a Tiburon that looks like mine.... thats all i care about.... im glad its so rare because then people are like "oooh look at that" instead of "oh look another Honda, yawn"

 

Hondas are like tampons......Every pussy has one. lol, j/k! But seriously though, I kind of like the fact that I have to search for parts for my car because it makes it that much more unique cause you have to work your azz of to find that part. Not like a Honda, where you can buy everything down to the smallest molecule at your local Gas station! :mrgreen:

 

or Wal-Mart... this is why i wanted to form an active club, that way more people are getting together w/ Tiburons, and more information can be shared about the car, and hopefully if the club grows big enough we can get some more light shining our direction as far as aftermarket products...

and if possible, see if we can get a pic(s) or something sent into PASMag.com (a canadian compact car mag).. let them know that these sharks swim in the same water as theese honda sardines.

 

well when we have SharkFest, or we do a show or something, we will get pics taken and send em in... oh and by the way if we do Scrape By the Lake we stand a good chance of getting into two mags, PASmag, and Street Tuner or something like that... they always do Scrape

 

When is Scrape supposed to be? I hope I can make that one aswell!
