NEW tibby
I just got back from test driving a 2001 tibby, 
, I am very impressed, and wish i could afford to trade in my kia for one, i just can't figure out how i can afford it($19k loaded), i'm poor, and I want a new tiberon!!!!!!

19K...HOLY S**T. I only paid 13,800 for mine and it was a package 5. It has everything except for abs and the alarm which i wasn't to interested in since i like aftermarket alarms anyways. I think i would do a little shopping around. I had to drive 600 miles to seattle to get a good price.

What dealership did you get yours at, I live in the seattle area. This was at Sound Hyundai, in Renton WA, the $19k was sticker, I'm sure they'd of come down. Now $13,800 or so, I can afford

If you even wait until the new 2003's start hitting the dealers...then the prices of the old tibbies will REALLY drop.
Either that, or go in there telling them that you want the new tibby..and let the sales guy wheel and deal on the old ones they have on the lot.
The new tiburon should be at the dealers by march or april I would suspect, but HMA has given no "offical" press release about a release date that I have seen.

I got mine in Kirkland,WA at Melody's Kirkland Hyundai. I was their first customer so i think it was a special kinda thing but they where really good and weren't pushy. I also went to that dealer in Renton and he was high. Try Kirkland and i almost guarantee that the sticker is at least a grand lower than Renton's.
Good luck and it might be worth it to do what Random said and get some of the last 2002's

My dealer told me that they just came from a Texas dealer meeting the week before and that Hyundai said they would have new Tiburons the FIRST WEEK of January for sale on the lot. Makes since considering they also aren't getting anymore shipments of the 2nd gens....forever... sad.gif rolleyes.gif
But hey since I know the dealer well I can test drive it for a while and see how it is. wink.gif
