Im get off work this afternoon and pull into to the form parking lot and theres this silver, brand new, Scion tC shock.gif ! They had to have bought it this weekend, and have already put some 18" chorme rims! I wouldnt be to impressed by it... but on an Airmans pay... this is BIG! All you military types know how the pay is.

I not a big fan of the Scions... but the "car type" isnt that bad!

Thought someone would like to know about since everyone is reporting their spottings.

They are definately not bad. The supercharger that is being released in November brings it to 220HP, the Stage 2 kit brings it to 260HP and the Stage 3 brings it to 300HP.

To be honest, I'd rather get the Chevy Cobalt. That thing is HOT, and the SS will run about 230HP.

Sorry man, it's similar to the Cav, but it's WAY nicer. Did you see the pics I posted from the Albuquerque International Auto Show?

yes i did... i've also seen it in a magazine. i'll just have to say i'd probably have to see it in person to be impressed by it. the power it can put out is nice... esp when they throw on the SS badge

i'm not a believer yet

The Cobalt SS S is the one that will do about 230HP, that is the one that comes with the supercharger. It looks pretty cool as well, but I would have to see it in person. I think if I had to choose between a Cobalt and a tC, I would take the tC. Chevys have always felt "cheap" inside.

the new Tc is hot. believe it or not i almost won one on the radio. i'm not kiddin'. they were giving one away and the "cue" to call was the advertisement. stupidly i didn't hit "speeddial" because i didn't realize that was the cue to call. it made me so mad so i turned off the radio and forgot all about the second hand prizes.

thank god because i thought scion was doomed like all of the other car companies that are just demolishing re-designed models ending up looking like roadkill.

hyundai too, has managed to just completely wiped their shoes off on the new 06' accent and sonata that are about to appear in showrooms. the accent looks like an cheap new corolla (as if we don't already have enough of those) and the sonata like a replica of a boxy new camry. honestly. so i totally love the new Tc for being unique.

hey hobgoblin, Im sure most SrA's can afford the 300-400 dollar payment on those Scions, hell my payment for my 2k Tib is $350.
But on the flipside, if its like a Amn or A1C living "on base" then hell yea, they would really be stretching their money out....
