Has anybody else seen the new Hyundai comercial for the new Sonata. Looks like a 7 series to me. It's also cool that they are being built in the U.S.

I've seen it, does a good job of portraying the Sonata as a contender.

Drove a 4 Cyl last week!
It's nice. Lotsa more roll than the my Tib (with full Eibachs) obviously,... But it handles good for a big car. Doesn't feel big. Holds nice, but like any FWD, it pushes when you take a corner like I do wink1.gif Little more body roll than I like on the 4 cyl, but most who buy it won't drive it like I test drove it wink1.gif We'll see how the V6 Handles,...

But Yeah I'm waiting to drive a V6 when it hits our lot laugh.gif

Assemblying them in the US was their biggest mistake... I really hope that the quality will stay the same!!!

By machines to a certain point,....

Then the Manual labor kicks in.
THAT'S where the sqeeks and rattles will come into play.

The one I drove came from Korea, and the initial batch of 4cyls will be from overseas, but later on, with the new 5spd autos that the 4cyl will have along with the V6's, they'll come from the states,...
I'm sure hyundai will go over those with a fine tooth comb

Most of the Camrys sold in the US are made in the US. Camrys are one of the most reliable and long lasting cars you can get. I don't think it will change the quality much at all. All it will do is just boost sales in the US. This is because of all those ignorant people who will only buy American made cars.

I never like Sonatas to much before but the if I needed a family car the 2006 would probably be my choice. For the price, the warranty, and the features included it is kind of like a no loose situation.

To me, it looks too much like a Camry or Accord. Liked the unique looks of the EF.

I like the info on the new engine, but still think it's underpowered for it's displacement.
