new car ideas
theoretically speaking, next spring im going to convince the wife to trade the maxima in and buy a new car
its been a good run with the maxima, ive put 60k miles on it and only have had to swap out the clutch and a rear valve cover, just time to move on to the BBD (bigger better deal)
and say i had roughly 15k to spend
what should i buy?
remember this is replacing my "nice car" so something classy or sporty wifey is a stickler for options and reasonable gas mileage (maxima gets 22mpg average on premium)
of course no fords/hondas/and more than likely no hyundais (ive had 5 its time for somethin different)
gto/g35/sti etc
probably aiming to no FWD vehicles, ABSOLUTELY has to have a stickshift
OH AND ONE MORE THING!!!
has to be newer than 2003, the only way i can convince her to buy a "new" car is if in fact, its "newer" than the one we have lol

I'd suggest the STI IF she wouldn't mind a car with rough suspension and some road noise, but driving is an absolute BLAST, and I planned/plan on getting one eventually. The g35 looks great in both 2 and 4 door, GTO's are also nice. I've ridden in a Lancer GTS, its no EVO, but it had SO much room it was ridiculous, but then again I'm only 5' 10" so I have a lot of room no matter what I sit in, and it rode very well.

welp, i brought this up to her tonight...pretty much RWD is out the window
shes REALLY smart, she told me "girls cant drive rwd vehicles in the snow" im gonna add that to my sig!!!
gawd i love her
so, awd, manual transmission and around 15k...the STI is hot in the lead, followed by the 330xi
what REALLY sucks is there is only like 4 dealerships in this podunk town
toyota/scion/chrysler(same dealership)
hyundai/mazda
ford
chevy
so if i need to order a part, its gonna take a while, hell it took 7 days to get a PCV valve for the maxima last week lol

What about a '07 Mazdaspeed 3? I've heard good things about them, downsides of them are fwd(which you don't want I suppose) and its a wagon... although I do like the look of sports wagons.

$13500 OBO
EDIT
the speed6 is in the price range im lookin for also...and its AWD
but i dont know if they come in manual
