Default never thought I would be in an accident that totalled a car

I was working last night when a truck turned in front of me failing to yield. I hit it doing about 55. Air bags went off; I had my seat belt on. Its the company car and the only one we have for now. I never thought it would happen to me and I was just thinking earlier that day that I'm an aware drive which would prevent my chances of being in an accident like this and totaling a car. I'm ok just a little banged up but woke up fine not sore. This just adds to more bs I'm dealing with Ugh! No matter how good of a driver you are there are always people who ain't. Everyone drive safe!

The truck I hit

Oh balls! If you weren't a fault they shouldn't hold you responsible.

Hang in there.

Ya but my DL is suspended and I got a citation. Its a class b misdemeanor which I can't have. If its on my record I can lose my security license and job.

Glad your ok, that looks like a pretty decent impact, I bet your sore today.

I totaled my car back in February, hit a guardrail backwards going about 70. I was "ok" at the time and for the rest of the day but I'll tell you, the next day it felt like I got hit by a Mack truck several times.
